Wound Care
Wound Care is performed by experienced emergency care doctors trained to evaluate wounds and determine the best course of treatment.
Wound care is a critical part of medical treatment that requires proper attention and care. The wound care process involves examining and cleaning the wound, applying appropriate dressings, managing pain, preventing infection, and monitoring the wound for signs of healing or any complications. Our doctors may use a combination of different wound care techniques and procedures, such as debridement, sutures, staples, skin glue, or advanced wound dressings or therapies, depending on your individual needs.
If our doctors determine that your wound requires specialised care, they will organise a referral to a medical specialist for further evaluation and treatment. Our doctors will provide the medical specialist with all the necessary information about your wound, your medical history, and any other relevant details to ensure a smooth transition and help them develop a personalised treatment plan for you.
By working closely with our doctors and following their instructions you can help ensure that your wound heals properly and without complications. So if you have a wound that requires medical attention, don’t hesitate to seek the help of our experienced and compassionate doctors.
